We do our best. If we can offer you a van, then we will. Applying costs nothing, so the best thing to do is apply and we can give you a quick answer.
The process takes less than 5 minutes. All you need to do is perform an ID check and verify your bank account. We aim to get you an answer within a few working hours.
We cover routine servicing and maintenance. But the overall condition of the van is your responsibility. Damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in extra charges. We recommend you put in place regular checks to ensure good upkeep.
Yes, this is usually fine for up to 30 days at a time. However, you need to give prior notice, get approval from us, and have all the correct documentation.
You need to insure the van, and this will dictate who can legally drive it. All drivers must be insured and drive within the Highway Code. The customer is responsible for all drivers, and you are not allowed to hire out or sublease the van.
Yes. But these need to be removed prior to return and leave no lasting damage.
Yes. Unlike most van leasing companies, we allow you to sign-write, brand or wrap the van. We just ask that you remove this professionally before returning your vehicle.
You choose your monthly mileage allowance when signing up. Any unused miles roll over into the next month. Extra miles are charged at 20p per mile.

No, we don’t provide this, and we are not authorised to offer insurance advice. However, we can suggest specialist brokers during the onboarding process if you wish. Please note that we may receive commission for referrals made.
We do not provide breakdown cover. So, you will need to sign up with a reputable vehicle breakdown company.
If it's a manufacturing fault we'll get it fixed asap - and either send you a similar van in the meantime, or pause payments until you're back on the road. However, breakdowns and issues caused by you are not covered.
You can book your van into approved service centres using our online booking portal. We liaise with the garage directly to authorise the work and make payment, and let you know when your van is ready for collection.
You can collect your van free of charge from one of our depots. We are currently adding more locations, so please get in touch for the latest options. The cost for doorstep delivery is usually £125 +VAT. This may be higher in some regions.
Yes, we offer doorstep delivery throughout the UK.
We can usually get you a van within 5 working days of your application being approved.
All our prices are subject to VAT. However, our vans are commercially rated. So, if you’re VAT registered, any VAT you pay is often fully recoverable. Unlike many providers, we charge VAT monthly, instead of upfront at the start.
Nope! DriveSimple never charges any processing or admin fees.
Your first payment is due shortly before delivery or collection in order to secure the van. After that, you will make regular monthly payments, covering each upcoming month.
Insurance, fuel, and breakdown cover are your responsibility.
You pay for your own insurance, breakdown cover and any damage you cause beyond wear and tear.
We include as much as possible in the monthly price, so you know exactly what you’ll pay. Your payment covers routine servicing & maintenance, road tax and tyre wear.
We offer no-deposit options on all of our vans during the sign-up process. However, if you choose to pay a small deposit, this can reduce monthly payments. Deposits may still be required in some cases - for example, if an applicant has a low credit rating.
If you have added flexible cancellation to your plan, you can return your van at any time with 3-months notice. You can choose to pay less each month if you fix your contract length, but if you do that it means that you are committed for the full term.
Yes, of course. Most of our customers choose to extend beyond their initial term. And if you do this, your price will stay the same. We don’t raise prices for loyal users.
Most van leasing companies require a minimum commitment of 24 months. But our van subscriptions start from just 6 months. We offer 6, 12, 24 and 48 month options. And you can choose to add a flexible, 3-month cancellation option to your plan.
DriveSimple offers flexible van subscriptions, designed for growing businesses and sole traders. These provide more flexibility, less upfront commitment and faster processing than traditional van leases. Unlike short-term rentals, prices are stable and competitive.
